Peat is a mixture of the remains of hundreds of different plants. It is therefore 100% natural and full of nutrients, trace elements and minerals. Peat contains 95-99% plant organic matter for your health. Thanks to its unique properties, peat has been used to treat muscle and joint pain for millennia. Due to the pleasant heat and the content of minerals and animals supstances, the wraps have an analgesic and mobility-improving effect. Peat wraps are a great helper in the treatment of joint and spine pain, rheumatic problems, osteoarthritis and other diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Peat has a dehydrating effect, it acts against cellulite. It is great for those clients who cannot use products with seawater or mud due to thyroid problems. It has anti-inflammatory effects, cleanses the skin, moisturizes, and is unique in its softness. Its antiseptic, healing, cleansing properties support the renewal of the skin and its pH. It is recognized worldwide for its exceptional regenerative and healing effects. Peat mainly has anti-inflammatory effects, perfuses the skin, acts against pain and strengthens the immune system.
The most gentle variant of peat wraps used for therapeutic methods of thermotherapy are disposable peat wraps. Disposable peat wraps consist of a 3-4 mm layer of peat mixture, which is placed between two foils. One of the foils is permeable to the active substances of peat, thus enabling the contact of humic substances with the client's skin.
Natural admixtures in peat wraps prevent greater leakage of water from the wrap and it is more cleaner way to use it without get a client dirty. An additional peat heat carrier, heated in a water bath at a temperature of 60 ° C, is applied to the disposable peat wraps. Gradual release of heat through disposable peat wraps prevents thermal shock to the client's body.
